began on the UWEC campus in 1934. LSA meets weekly at 5:30 pm on Wednesdays for worship or an activity (community, learning, or service), with a free meal following at 6:00 pm.
LSA was started BY Lutherans, but it is not only *for* Lutherans! Our students come from a wide variety of faith traditions; some have grown up in the church, some left it long ago, some are finding their way in a new phase of life at college. And that's what we're here for! Our worship services and events are open to everyone, framed by our commitment to diversity in every way, including being fully inclusive of 2SLGBTQIA+ students at every level of participation, welcome, and leadership.
We meet at University Lutheran, 110 Garfield Ave (next to Hibbard), every Wednesday at 5:30 (unless there are no classes the next day, like Thanksgiving week and Winterim). The leadership also plans game nights, hang outs, trips, retreats, and service projects throughout the year.
